As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer on our Digital & Technology team, you will lead the migration and modernization of enterprise Oracle databases to the public cloud. You will administer mission-critical Oracle Database 19c platforms in a 24/7 environment, focusing on Data Guard primary-standby configurations, ASM, Linux, and shell/Python automation. This is your opportunity to shape cloud database engineering at a Fortune 500 company.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nLead Oracle database migration and modernization to the public cloud.\nMigrate Oracle workloads to GCP or other public cloud platforms.\nOwn migration processes, documentation, automation, and tooling.\nAdminister mission-critical Oracle Database 19c platforms in a 24/7 environment.\nImplement and support Data Guard primary-standby configurations.\nAdminister and support Oracle ASM.\nPerform database tuning, capacity planning, backup and recovery, patching, and upgrades.\nUse Linux, shell scripting, and Python to automate database operations.\nMeet cloud security standards and reduce operational and security risk.\nManage database lifecycle activities and operational documentation.\nCollaborate with application stakeholders to resolve tickets.\nResolve failures and critical alerts within an Agile framework.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience: 5 + years administering, designing, modernizing, or migrating enterprise Oracle databases.\nCore Technical Skills: Oracle Database 19c; Data Guard primary-standby; ASM; Linux; and shell scripting and/or Python.\nHigh Availability and Recovery: Experience with HA, DR, backup and recovery, tuning, and production support.\nCloud Experience: Experience with cloud adoption, security, governance, and integration.\nAutomation and DevOps: Experience automating provisioning, support, monitoring, and lifecycle operations.\nOperating Systems: Strong Linux experience; Windows Server is beneficial.\nEngineering Practices: Working knowledge of DevOps and Agile practices and proofs of concept.\nService Orientation: Experience designing user-centric database services, including self-service provisioning.\nSoft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills; flexible, reliable, self-starting, and customer focused.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): Experience with OCI and cloud-based Oracle database services.\nInfrastructure as Code: Terraform experience for OCI provisioning and automation.\nAutomation Tooling: Ansible, GitHub, or similar tooling;
