You’ll work across a matrixed delivery model: partnering with agile product teams to deliver business initiatives while helping the central Salesforce team strengthen platform-wide capabilities, standards, and architecture. You’ll collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, product teams, and external partners, translating platform strategy into practical solutions that meet business needs and mitigate risk. You’ll also mentor engineers and help evaluate emerging platform capabilities, including AI and automation opportunities.\nWhat You'll Do\nHelp shape and implement Salesforce Core CRM strategy, roadmap, and target-state architecture in partnership with Enterprise Architecture and other technical leads.\nDesign, configure, build, test, deploy, and document Salesforce solutions using declarative tools and custom development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Flow, and Visualforce.\nPartner with agile product teams to assess business use cases, offer solution options, guide technical decisions, and uphold platform standards.\nCollaborate with developers, analysts, data engineers, and product managers to shape backlogs, plan features, estimate work, and deliver initiatives.\nEvaluate Salesforce technologies and features, and identify opportunities for AI, automation, and other platform capabilities; lead pilots and proofs of concept where appropriate.\nConduct platform health and security assessments, perform code reviews, and help close gaps through documented standards and best practices.\nCreate and maintain technical artifacts such as data flows, system diagrams, and future-state architectures.\nContribute to agile ceremonies, project planning, backlog refinement, risk management, and continuous improvement in team practices.\nMentor engineers and product-team peers through hands-on coaching, design feedback, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.\nPartner across internal teams and external vendors, support capability and capacity planning, and participate in the support rotation.\nContinue building technical and communication skills, share ideas with team leadership, and support additional team needs as they arise.\nMinimum Qualifications\n7+ years of experience working on complex IT projects.\n5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Core Cloud configuration, such as flows, permission sets, profiles, and other declarative functionality, and customization, such as Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Flow, and Visualforce.\nSuccessful experience delivering Salesforce APIs and custom integrations with Salesforce CRM products and other solutions, including cloud platforms or third-party AppExchange products.\nDeep technical knowledge of Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Consumer Goods Cloud.\nKnowledge of designing, developing, and managing Salesforce orgs and integrations across Salesforce CRM products, AppExchange products, and other platforms.\nExperience with Salesforce deployment tools such as Gearset or Copado.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.\nAbility to learn quickly, research and implement processes or technologies, and organize work across multiple deliverables and strategic initiatives with minimal oversight.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical choices and tradeoffs clearly to peers and cross-functional partners.\nExperience with agile methods and familiarity with design and diagramming tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSalesforce certifications such as Administrator, Architect, Consultant, or Developer.\nPrevious experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Analyst.\nExperience with platform observability, MuleSoft integrations, DevOps, CI/CD, or Cyber Security.\nKnowledge of cloud platforms and solutions such as Google Cloud Platform.\nDatabase experience, including SQL and relational database concepts and models; experience with dimensional modeling, ETL, and structured or unstructured data.\nFamiliarity with technologies such as Own Backup & Archiving, GitHub Actions, Kafka, HashiCorp Vault, or Tableau.\nUnderstanding of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, indirect selling through a third-party distributor (B2B), or retail point-of-sale data such as Nielsen.\nExperience with modern software engineering principles.\nAdditional Considerations\nInternational relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.\nApplicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
