Will drive platform roadmaps and ensure the Planview ecosystem scales seamlessly to support enterprise portfolio management, resource capacity planning, and financial tracking.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nTechnical Leadership & Governance:\nPlatform Roadmap: Own the platform roadmap for Planview Products & Shared capabilities in partnership with Solution Architect.\n\nTechnical Governance: Establish best practices for environment management (Sandbox, Production). Manage deployment of changes from Sandbox to Production. Manage multiple Sandbox environment for Planview Portfolios, Manage Sandbox refresh and post refresh steps for Planview Portfolios\n\nMentorship: Act as the subject matter expert (SME), guiding and mentoring a team of administrators and system engineers.\n\nAdvanced Configuration & Platform Administration (Planview Admin):\nCore Configuration: Configure complex portfolio structures, investment strategies, and fiscal time periods.\n\nLifecycle & Workflow Automation: Design and build multi-stage automated routing configurations and approval workflows to streamline demand intake and governance.\n\nManage Planview Product and Shared Capabilities access via Planview Admin\n\nSystem Health & Security: Manage user access profiles, object permissions, and Single Sign-On (SSO)/Active Directory integrations.\n\nIntegration Engineering & Development:\nAPI Development: Design, build, and maintain custom integration pipelines utilizing Planview Portfolios’ Public REST APIs and OData feeds using OAuth2.\n\nPartner with Solution Architects, business product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams to shape platform strategy.\n\nEcosystem Orchestration: Configure and extend Planview Hub (Tasktop) to drive flawless, bidirectional data synchronization between Planview Portfolios and peripheral tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps).\n\nETL & Data Scripting: Write efficient scripts in Python, Java, or Shell to automate data transfers, system maintenance jobs, and backend configurations.\n\nDatabase Management & Advanced Analytics:\nDatabase Optimization: Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures on enterprise databases.\n\nData Schema Design: Leverage knowledge of Planview’s underlying relational database schema to troubleshoot data discrepancies and build high-performance reporting views.\n\nBusiness Intelligence: Collaborate with BI teams to design data models and write custom DAX/SQL queries for Microsoft Power BI or tableau executive dashboards.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like:\nA stable and well-governed platform that supports business planning and delivery needs.\n\nEnd-to-End technical Leadership\n\nTechnical enablement and effective delivery of enhancements, releases, and implementations.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\n8+ years of experience in enterprise applications, platform architecture, systems integration, or technical administration.\n\n3+ years of hands-on experience with Planview Portfolios or a comparable enterprise portfolio management platform.\n\nKnowledge of Planview Ecosystem\n\nProven experience defining technical architecture, platform scalability, and environment strategy across enterprise systems.\n\nStrong experience designing secure integrations using REST APIs, OData feeds, OAuth2, and connecting platforms such as Azure DevOps, ServiceNow.\n\nStrong scripting and database skills, including Python, Java along with advanced SQL for queries, views, and stored procedures.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical delivery, manage platform security and SSO, solve complex issues, and mentor administrators or engineers\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nPlanview Portfolios administration, implementation, or technical certification.\n\nExperience with Planview Hub and bidirectional integration design across enterprise tools\n\nKnowledge of Planview’s relational data model and experience troubleshooting data issues or building reporting views.\n\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment frameworks for enterprise SaaS or hybrid platforms.\n\nExperience building analytics and reporting solutions in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.\n\nProven success delivering platform upgrades, enhancements, and implementations in large, highly governed enterprise
