Our products include Gardettos, Bugles, Chex Mix, and Muddy Buddys.\nWhat We Have to Offer\n$28.07 per hour starting pay\nPay for skill program for higher pay rates up to $29.40 per hour\n15 days (120 hours) of vacation annually\n11 paid holidays\n401(k) with company match\nHealth Insurance includes medical, dental, and life\nGreat paid time off benefits and much more!\nYour Work Schedule and Shift Information\nCurrent Shift Openings:\n 2nd Shift (8 Hours, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)\n 3rd shift (8 Hours, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)\n 12hr nights (12 Hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)\nSchedule Patterns:\n8 Hour Shifts run on a 12-2 schedule - Work for 12 days in a row and then have 2 days off, 2 days off will be every other weekend\n12 Hour Shifts run on a 2-2-3 schedule - 2-2-3 Schedule - on-shift for 2 days, off-shift for 2 days, on-shift 3 for days, etc.\nAll Shifts Require:\nThe ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays\nPlant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days per week\nOvertime: Every other weekend, with potential for up to 4 additional hours before or after your scheduled shift.\nPlant Operations: Our facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.\nFlexibility: Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nAs part of our manufacturing team, you will:\nSupport production packaging and processing operations\nSupport sanitation operations\nParticipate in startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment\nCreate high-quality foods that are eaten EVERYDAY, NATIONWIDE\nUse TECHNOLOGY in an industry-leading facility\nWork with HIGH-LEVEL operators on EXPERIENCED teams that are looking to pass down their knowledge to workers WILLING TO LEARN and get paid doing it\nCHALLENGE yourself to get the JOB DONE RIGHT and gain skills to take with you to your next opportunity\nDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical or other issues with equipment and partner with maintenance staff and/or additional resources when necessary to resolve issues effectively\nAddress operational issues in a timely manner and communicate results to team leader\nCoordinate and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment with a focus on defect identification and breakdown elimination\nRemove and replace motors, starters, belts, bearings, chains, and other manufacturing parts\nEnter Work Orders for any defects you identify\nPerform centerline checks each shift to ensure equipment is running per recommendations\nCalibrate processing and packaging systems daily to meet required specifications\nParticipate in startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment\nAssisting other packaging machine operators to set up packaging machine, change film, and generate problem solving\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or GED\n2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment is required\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs\nAbility to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces\nAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms\nAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment - PPE) such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net, and gloves (when required)\nWilling and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment\nAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions\nWilling to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery\nAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience in a manufacturing/production environment\n\nELIGIBILITY\nApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.\n\nEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER (EOE)\nGeneral Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
