Possesses the ability to decide and act without having the total picture, can handle multiple and concurrent diverse projects with minimal direct supervision, and can coordinate activities with key stakeholders and other disciplines.\nEmploy rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult schedule and construction problems with effective solutions; probes all fruitful sources for answers; can see hidden problems; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers.\nIdentify future issues related to construction schedules utilizing broad knowledge and perspective related to construction activities. Future oriented and can create and execute competitive and breakthrough concepts related to facility design and construction. \nDemonstrate strong self-management skills by independently prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and driving projects forward with minimal supervision\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\nYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):\n5+ years in project management experience within the industrial OR construction fields\nBachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.\nExposure to coordinating facilities design and construction activities \nExposure to Construction Contracts including engineering drawings and specifications\nExposure to Building codes and construction specifications\nExposure to construction safety and Safety Contract Management process\nExposure to project budget management including change order processes\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nMust be willing to travel up to 50% of the time both internationally and domestic\n\nGM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
