In this role, you will serve as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing and manufacturing, logistics, and suppliers to resolve issues and provide day-to-day operational support. This position will have a strong focus on two specific areas: supply chain and planning. This includes partnering with manufacturing, finance, and supply chain teams to establish and maintain best practices. Special projects as required.\nWhat You’ll Do (Responsibilities):\nExecute deliverables in support of the supply chain organization’s business objectives\nSupport one of the key areas within Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product, and financial performance\nCommunicate effectively with all levels of the organization, across the function, other functions, and suppliers\nSupport relationship management with logistics suppliers and service providers\nUnderstand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues while minimizing impact to vehicle production\nAssess supplier schedules and determine potential impact on vehicle assembly production\nCollaborate cross-functionally to develop creative and effective solutions\nSummarize critical issues, recommend resolutions, and communicate clearly to leadership\nResolve complex capacity constraint issues with the goal of eliminating potential plant disruptions and reducing premium transportation costs\nAnalyze metrics related to supplier critical issues and sufficiency plan resolution\nDemonstrate flexibility, including working extended and non-core hours when needed to drive issues to resolution\nOpportunity to travel to plant locations as required to provide onsite support for launch and buildout activities\nTake ownership of complex problems and implement innovative strategies\nApply a deep understanding of Supply Chain functions to support operational success\nYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)\n5+ years of relevant work experience within Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing Planning\n What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications)\nBachelor’s degree\nExperience with SAP\nPeople leadership experience\nProven working knowledge of Excel\nStrong communication and organizational skills\nCompensation:\nThe expected base compensation for this role is: $80,700.00 - $109,400.00 USD Annual.
