CAPEX projects to ensure compliance with GM & GAAP requirements\nWorks independently on driving team results determines resources to complete team assignments.\nEnhances relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with subject matter and often require persuasion.\nSupporting internal/external stakeholders through data driven decision.\nManaging team effectively demonstrate GM behaviors and reinforcement GM behavior within & outside controllership.\nEffectively communicates and presents recommendations and results across several job areas.\nLead Mentor and develop the Controllership team\nPeople Management\nOwns the outcome and ensure timely development and delivery of solutions driving cross projects Lead by example taking responsibility for own actions and holding themselves accountable for deliverables.\nCritical thinker and able to follow out of the box approach to addresses and evaluates diverse compelling issues identifying innovative methods looking alternative opportunities.\nResponsible for team development including performance review training Coaching and mentorship.\nBasic Skills Knowledge Behaviors:\nComprehend claims and sales allowances.\nInterpret and operationalize applicable accounting policies and procedures.\nDemonstrates qualities (e.g. ethics integrity expertise) that establish credibility with all internal and external constituents.\nManage the process of planning and organizing resources (e.g. people funds) appropriately to accomplish desired goals.\nPlan assign and supervise the work of direct reports.\nAble to prepare structured/verbal presentations for senior leadership\nHigh level of soft skills: knowledge creativity leadership managing people problem solving proactive rationalization has a clear vision communication skills transformation mindset negotiation skills etc.\nTechnical skills: Thorough knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS US GAAP Local GAAP etc.)\nGood understanding of financial reporting budgeting forecasting and variance analysis\nFamiliarity with local tax regulations\nProficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle etc) and advanced Excel\nIn-depth knowledge of internal controls audit processes and risk management frameworks (e.g ICFR SOX compliance)\n\nGM Specific Skills Knowledge Behaviors\nProficient understanding of SAP & HFM system functionality.\nUnderstanding of GMs management legal and segment organizational structures and how they are consolidated.\nUnderstanding of GMs chart of accounts and HFM accounts and how they impact the Balance Sheet Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement.\nKnowledge and Experience:\n10 years of working experience in Accounting/ Costing function/ management accounting experience with 5 years at supervisory level\n2 years in Big 4 audit firm or US publicly listed company preferred\nEducation:\nPossesses at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and/ or Finance or related
