We aim to turn software changes into safe, shippable artifacts with confidence and quality. We build and operate the foundations behind application and system-on-chip image builds, CI pipelines, artifact and image management, validation benches, and release promotion workflows. Our mission is to make development faster, software better, and engineering impact stronger by improving pipeline reliability and performance, standardizing quality and compliance gates, strengthening observability, and converging our existing workflows with common build and orchestration infrastructure across AV.\nWhat You'll Do (Responsibilities)\nCreate, maintain, improve, and evolve our CI/CD processes for new and existing services to reduce manual and repetitive tasks.\nOwn robust technical projects, designs, and solutions with a focus on quality, scalability, real-time processing, and availability.\nLead complex projects that span teams and involve many partners and customers.\nEffectively participate in planning, code reviews, and design discussions.\nContribute to impactful projects on the team’s roadmap.\nThrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment where impact is a result of your efforts and your contribution is highly visible.\nDrive software engineering best practices both within our team and across engineering, and create tooling that encourages and supports these practices.\nMentor and up-level other engineers on the team.\nConduct technical interviews using well-calibrated standards and play a crucial role in recruiting activities.\nBe a positive contributor to our team culture.\nTravel as required.\nRequired Skills and Experience\n3+ years of experience leading and driving large-scale, cross-team initiatives.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related field, or equivalent work experience.\nExperience developing workflows and managing CI/CD platforms such as Buildkite, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.\nExperience working with developer tooling and technologies such as Python and Docker.\nExperience with build systems such as Bazel or CMake, and with compilers such as Clang, GCC, and NVCC.\nExperience leading projects across multiple teams.\nAttention to detail and a desire to improve the processes and systems around you.\nDeep understanding of the business and operational impacts of different technology trade-offs.\nPassion for self-driving technology and its potential impact on the world.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\n5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production systems at scale in the cloud.\nStrong understanding of major automotive vehicle systems, such as Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), Motion Control, Automotive Networks, and Powertrain.\nExperience with automotive communication protocols (Ethernet/CAN/LIN).\nExperience with SAFe and Agile methodologies.\nExperience working with globally distributed teams.\nExperience with the QNX OS and the QCC build toolchain.\nExperience with an Adaptive AUTOSAR service-based vehicle platform.\nExperience with unit-testing tools, such as CppUTest and GoogleTest, and their respective Jenkins plugins.\nCompensation:\nThe salary range for this role is $115,000 to $164,600.
