You will have an opportunity to work on what it takes to run, deploy, and test on the next generation of GM AVs.\nThis is a highly collaborative team with close collaboration with various teams within the core AV organization including Embodied AI, Model Deployment, Middleware, OS, Sensor Applications, and Vehicle Integration. This role blends expertise in Software development, software optimization, managing and deploying HIL Services as a PaaS, and hardware-aware engineering.\nWhat you’ll be doing (Responsibilities)\nDevelop software to increase the capabilities, fidelity, observability and scale of our HIL Platform and Integration services\n\nDeliver reliable software through requirements generation, continuous integration, automated testing, issue tracking, and code reviews\n\nCollaborate with colleagues across multiple teams\n\nDeliver complex projects through incremental development\n\nYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)\n2+ years of experience writing production-quality software\n\nStrong system fundamentals and coding abilities (Python, C++)\n\nUnderstanding of how to design high-performant software components\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills\n\nExperience developing in a Linux environment\n\nBS, MS or PhD in CS, or related technical field\n\nWhat Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)\nExperience with optimizing and/or evaluating complex software systems on dedicated hardware\n\nExperience with ROS architectures\n\nExperience with low latency or real time systems\n\nExperience in the AV industry\n\nExperience with SQL\n\nLarge build system such as bazel working experience\n\nCompensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws.
