Partner with automation teams to combine fluid power systems with remote-control or autonomous mining systems.\nBuild and commission prototypes. Assemble, install, and calibrate new fluid power assemblies before deployment underground or in pits.\nConduct rigorous diagnostic testing. Perform cycle-time analysis, pressure-drop testing, and oil analysis to monitor system health.\nTroubleshoot complex mechanical failures. Rapidly diagnose hydraulic pump cavitation, valve stick, or line ruptures to minimize costly mine downtime.\nEnforce strict mining safety standards. Ensure all fluid designs comply with Canadian mining regulations and safety frameworks (e.g., CSA, ISO, and provincial mine safety acts).\nDocument engineering packages. Generate exact Bills of Materials (BOM), preventative maintenance schedules, and safety lockout procedures.\nCollaborate with maintenance crews. Provide technical guidance to millwrights and heavy equipment mechanics during complex system overhauls\nCOMPENSATION\n$37.04 - $49.63 (hourly)\nPlease keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
