The role also involves collaborating with customers and teams to resolve issues, performing engineering calculations, and preparing technical documentation to support project delivery and ongoing maintenance.\nMust be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship\nJOB DUTIES:\nIntermediate software development using industrial automation software.\n\nAbility to program control panels from scratch.\n\nStrong background in PLC, HMI and SCADA programming.\n\nProblem solving for large-scale software applications.\n\nExperience with pumping stations and wastewater treatment plants.\n\nExperience with Wonderware Industrial Automation software\n\nDesigning, developing, and presenting standard operating procedures on equipment.\n\nExperience in both service & project work.\n\nPerforms basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned.\n\nCollaborates with other employees to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems.\n\nAssists in preparing reports, graphs, planning layouts and summaries designed to communicate project progress or results.\n\nDesigns, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots, and provides technical skills and training.\n\nRecommends and designs components and systems of components working together to meet customer specifications for size, layout, and performance.\n\nUtilizes Computer-Aided Design (CAD), 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, general-arrangement and production layout drawings, load calculations, stress analysis, and/or fabrication/shop drawings to assist with defining problems and completing engineering projects.\n\nEnsures that processes and environmental conditions comply with local and national regulatory agencies and the organization’s safety standards.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nTypically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:\nProficient use of CAD software and Microsoft Office suite software.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to organize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.\n\nStrong mechanical and math skills and ability to formulate ideas and create design solutions for internal and external customer needs.\n\nStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.\n\nField experience is a plus\n\nWorks as a key member of cross functional teams & must display a can-do attitude that sets an example for others.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nMay require travel and specific safety training to work in dangerous and extreme environment conditions while collecting data or commissioning new systems at the customer’s location.\nCOMPANY INFORMATION:\nMotion offers an excellent benefits package which includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, vacation, sick, and holiday pay.\nPlease keep in mind that this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
