In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, availability, and security of our IBM Z infrastructure, supporting critical business services across the organization.\nYou will work closely with infrastructure, operations, application teams, IBM, and external vendors to maintain and enhance our enterprise mainframe environment.\nWhat you will do:\nInstall, customize, maintain, and upgrade IBM z/OS operating systems\n Perform system software installation, maintenance, and SMP/E software management\nInstall, configure, and support IBM and third-party (ISV) software products\nManage IPL activities, maintenance windows, and planned infrastructure changes\nMonitor system performance and capacity, identifying opportunities for optimization\nAnalyze and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents\nImplement IBM maintenance, PTFs, APARs, and software upgrades\nSupport disaster recovery testing and business continuity initiatives\nCollaborate with RACF administrators to maintain system security and compliance\nSupport automation and scheduling solutions\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures\nWork with IBM and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues\nParticipate in on-call activities and major incident management processes\nWhat we are looking for:\nTechnical Skills:\n Strong expertise in IBM zSystems (IBM Z) and z/OS systems programming\nProven experience with installation, administration, and support of z/OS environments\nHands-on experience with SMP/E software management\nSolid knowledge of IBM maintenance processes, including PTFs, APARs, and software upgrades\nExperience supporting IBM and ISV software products within enterprise production environments\nKnowledge of IPL processes, maintenance planning, and infrastructure change management\nExperience with performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity management\nUnderstanding of disaster recovery and business continuity practices\nKnowledge of mainframe security concepts and cooperation with RACF teams\nExperience with automation and scheduling tools is an advantage\nAbility to create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures\nExperience working with technology vendors and external suppliers\nAbility to manage and resolve critical production incidents\nSoft Skills:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nAbility to work effectively in complex enterprise environments\nOwnership and accountability for critical systems\nGoal-oriented approach and attention to detail\nAbility to perform under pressure during incidents and maintenance activities\nLanguages:\nFluent spoken and written English\nExperience:\nMinimum 10 years of experience working with Mainframe technologies\nExperience operating and supporting mission-critical,
