engineering, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability.\nThe selected candidate will:\nOversee and manage external platform engineers, ensuring the effective provisioning and management of infrastructure components on cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)\nLead cloud engineering initiatives by designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud environments, optimizing for performance and cost efficiency\nLead the Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and Machine Learning (ML) pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring of applications and models\nDefine and execute DevOps strategies, fostering automation, security, and best practices in infrastructure and application deployment\nManage the onboarding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams, ensuring they have the necessary tools and processes to maintain and operate live platforms and managed services\nLead enhancements in data infrastructure and candidate will meet the following requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related field\n5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps, with at least 2 years in a leadership role\nProven experience in managing platform engineering teams and working with external cloud engineering service providers\nStrong expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments, including compute, networking, storage, and security best practices\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), including module development, state management, and automation\nIn-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation, including tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins CI/CD\nProficiency in DevOps principles, automation frameworks, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes\nStrong experience in designing and implementing ML pipelines and integrating them with cloud-based environments\nFamiliarity with SRE principles, including monitoring, incident response, and service reliability engineering\nExperience with cloud networking and security best practices, including IAM, VPC configurations, and identity federation\nGood knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices and some hands-on experience in python development or any similar language\nNice to have:\nMaster’s degree in any Engineering field\nExperience in the financial or asset management sector\nKnowledge of multi-cloud architectures and hybrid cloud strategies\nExperience in distributed computing engines such as Spark and data pipelines\nExperience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stacks\nUnderstanding of regulatory requirements in cloud security and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2, FINMA)\nSoft skills:\nStrong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking\nAbility
