We are currently seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Analyst with five plus years’ experience, demonstrable knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and Service Clouds, and a strong knowledge of Data Analytics using Power BI / Tableau to join our team.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSalesforce Administration (approximately 70%)\nServe as a key member of the General Kinematics’ Salesforce Engagement Team to maintain strong relationships with Salesforce and Salesforce Partners.\nServe as the primary Salesforce system administrator for the organization's Salesforce org (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service Cloud)\nManage user accounts, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security settings in alignment with organizational policies\nDesign and implement declarative automation using Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Approval Processes to streamline business operations\nConfigure and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, list views, and validation rules\nOversee release management including sandbox environments, change sets, and deployment of new features\nPartner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions\nManage and maintain third-party AppExchange integrations and connected apps\nMonitor system performance, storage utilization, and license consumption; proactively address issues\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries, process maps, and training materials\nDeliver end-user training and provide ongoing support to maximize platform adoption and utilization\nEvaluate and implement new Salesforce features released during each seasonal update cycle\nData Engineering & Analytics (approximately 30%)\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from Salesforce and other business systems into a centralized data warehouse (Azure Data Fabric)\nDevelop and maintain clean, reusable data models following dimensional modeling best practices (star/snowflake schemas)\nWrite complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to transform, aggregate, and validate data across multiple sources\nBuild and maintain robust data pipelines.\nCreate, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements; translate these into reliable data products\nImplement and enforce data quality standards, monitoring, and alerting to ensure accuracy and completeness\nUtilize Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API) and tools such as MuleSoft or custom Python integrations to extract and sync data\nContribute to the organization's data governance strategy, including metadata management and lineage tracking\nPerform ad hoc analysis to answer business questions, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making\nRequirements\nWork Location\nThis is a fully onsite position; candidates must be able to commute to and work from our office full time. \nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field\nEquivalent combination of education and demonstrated professional experience will be considered\nExperience\nMinimum 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience in a production Salesforce environment\nMinimum 3+ years of data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI development experience\nProven experience with full-cycle ETL/ELT pipeline development from design through production deployment\nDemonstrated experience writing advanced SQL across one or more major database platforms\nExperience working in a Waterfall or an Agile/Scrum development environment\nTechnical Skills - Salesforce\nProficiency with Salesforce Flows (Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows, Scheduled Flows)\nExperience with Salesforce data management tools: Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, Workbench\nFamiliarity with Salesforce APIs including REST, SOAP, and Bulk API 2.0\nTechnical Skills - Data Engineering & Analytics\nAdvanced SQL proficiency (window functions, CTEs, query optimization)\nPython scripting for data manipulation and pipeline development.\nExperience with Azure Data Fabric, Cloud Data Warehouse\nExperience with dbt (data build tool) for transformation layer development\nFamiliarity with data orchestration tools\nProficiency in at least one BI / data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI)\nUnderstanding data modeling concepts: star schema, normalization, slowly changing dimensions\nExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)\nPreferred Qualifications\nSalesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or additional Salesforce certifications\nExperience with Salesforce CRM Analytics/Tableau\nExposure to Salesforce Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), or Streaming API\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure\nKnowledge of data governance frameworks, Master Data Management (MDM), or data catalog tools\nExperience with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps\nFamiliarity with CI/CD practices and deployment pipelines for Salesforce (Salesforce DX, GitHub Actions)\nPrior experience in a hybrid IT / business analyst role bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders\nCore Competencies & Attributes\nAnalytical Thinking: Approaches complex problems with a structured, data-driven mindset\nCommunication: Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences\nCollaboration: Works effectively across departments and levels;
