This person can juggle - and juggle well - managing a variety of stakeholders and projects simultaneously while providing the highest standards of performance.\nWhat you will be doing at Generate Capital as an Assistant Project Manager:\nSupport relationship building and onboarding of project landowners.\n\nAssist in site diligence in conjunction with internal teams and consultants including critical issues screening, preliminary design and energy model, landowner and utility issues.\n\nSupport the Project Manager in overseeing EPC contractors and ensuring alignment with goals, contract terms, and project timelines\n\nAssist in reviewing and managing EPC contractors, including tracking key deliverables, notices, change orders, and payment milestones\n\nHelp monitor construction progress and milestone achievement, ensure timely updates are provided to stakeholders\n\nCoordinate engineering review of EPC contractor site-specific designs, energy models, and permitting documents for accuracy and compliance\n\nCoordinate internal reviews of technical submittals, RFIs, and change orders with engineering, legal, and finance teams\n\nTrack project budgets, invoice approvals, and cost forecasts, ensuring adherence to financial controls and reporting requirements\n\nMaintain organized documentation in internal project management systems, ensuring traceability and compliance with audit standards\n\nAttend project meetings with EPCs, consultants, and internal stakeholders, documenting action items and coordinating follow-through with Project Managers\n\nCoordinate review of project specific design and documentation with utilities, interconnection teams, and permitting authorities to maintain project momentum and regulatory compliance\n\nHelp coordinate project turnover process, ensuring a smooth handoff to the Asset Management team\n\nCandidate qualifications & core characteristics:\nA demonstrated passion for, or commitment to, our mission\n\n2+ years’ experience in development administration and/or project management, with some exposure to solar PV projects preferred\n\nAbility to flex across the development and construction lifecycle\n\nExceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through\n\nEffective written and oral communicator capable of motivating colleagues and external parties to collaborate and respond to requests.\n\nUnimpeachable integrity and glowing references\n\nOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including empathy, intuition, and listening as well as strong writing, editing, and basic design skills\n\nHigh level of self-awareness and humility, with excitement about confronting uncomfortable situations or new challenges\n\nIntellectual agility, curiosity, and creativity; problem-solving is your default mode\n\nEntrepreneurial spirit: flexibility, comfort with risk, recognition that “perfect can be the enemy of the good”\n\nGenerate’s compensation packages are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Salary decisions take into account a wide variety of factors including, but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000. In addition, the compensation package may include a discretionary bonus and other benefits, including health care benefits, retirement benefits, benefits permitting paid days off (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid time off or vacation benefits), and other benefits that must be reported for federal tax purposes.
