The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the payments industry, as well as experience in consulting and business development.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Delivery\nServes as Project Manager, responsible for overall project execution and delivery\nDepending on the project team size and structure, contributes to project execution: analysis, synthesis and deliverable development \nCoordinates project teams, manages timelines, and ensures deliverables meet quality standards\nMaintains regular client communication and manages day-to-day client relationships\nEscalates issues appropriately and proactively problem-solves delivery challenges\nBusiness Development\nProvides quality control and sign-off on proposals developed by associates\nLeads proposal development directly when required by resource capacity\nContributes to opportunity identification and pipeline development\nBuilds and maintains relationships with client counterparts\nOperational and Financial Responsibility\nLeads one of the four service line work streams: Strategy, Research, Program Management, or Policy\nAccountable for achieving the assigned work stream financial target of USD 400,000 per annum (RFPs and direct client engagements)\nMonitors the work stream pipeline and proactively identifies opportunities to meet targets\nKnowledge Management & Thought Leadership\nOwns responsibility for drafting knowledge management materials to drive engagement. Target: Produces one knowledge piece per quarter.\nRepresents the service line at key ecosystem events as assigned by the Manager/Principal/Head of Service Line\nPeople Management\nOfficial line manager to associates and analysts\nConducts quarterly 1:1 meetings with line associates and analysts\nConducts performance reviews and supports career development planning\nEnsures appropriate resourcing and workload management for direct reports\nWorking Groups & Initiatives\nLeads one working group (e.g., Recruitment, Communications, Onboarding, Partnerships)\nSets working group objectives and ensures progress against goals\nReports on working group activities to service line leadership\nRequirements\nThe successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy the flexible nature of the job, and like to hit the ground running.
