recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Internal Control / Audit Manager (ACA) \n\nLocation: Warri - Delta / Aba - Abia\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nSummary\n\nAn Internal Control/Audit role evaluates, monitors, and improves an organization's risk management, governance, and internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.\n\nCore Role & Purpose\n\nPrimary Objective: Provide independent, objective assurance and consulting to improve business operations, ensure financial reporting accuracy, and maintain adherence to laws and company policies.\nLine of Defense: Internal control operates as the first/second line (designing and monitoring daily operational controls), while internal audit acts as the third line (independent and retrospective evaluation).\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nReporting & Remediation: Document audit findings, write reports for management or the Audit Committee, and track issue remediation.\nControl Evaluation: Assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls, including segregation of duties and access permissions.\nInvestigations & Fraud Detection: Review physical and electronic records, reconcile physical inventory to book records, and investigate suspected irregularities.\nAuditing & Testing: Execute risk-based internal audits, process walkthroughs, and operational/financial reviews.\nStakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with external auditors, department heads, and executive leadership to promote transparency and accountability.\nRisk & Compliance
