This is a 6 month contract opportunity.\n\nWe are seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and services on Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments while supporting application teams with cloud architecture, automation, and operational best practices. The engineer will play a key role in migrating workloads to Azure, optimizing cloud performance, and ensuring platform reliability.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure services\nConfigure and manage Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, and application gateways\nProvision and manage Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates\nMonitor and maintain Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights\nManage Azure storage solutions including Blob Storage, Files, and Managed Disks\nImplement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions\nTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform issues across Azure environments\nPerform performance tuning, scaling, and optimization of cloud resources\nAutomate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python\nSupport cloud migrations and deployment of workloads to Azure\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience\n7-10 years of experience in Infrastructure or Cloud Engineering role\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including computer networking, and storage\nExperience with Azure Virtual Machines, VNets, Load Balancers, Azure App Services, and AKS\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates\nStrong knowledge of Azure networking and cloud architecture fundamentals\nExperience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python\nExperience with Azure monitoring and troubleshooting tools\nStrong communication skills to articulate thought processes and rationale\nMust be able to work hybrid, onsite in New York City from Tuesday to Thursday\n\nDesired skills:\nPrevious experience in the financial services industry\nExposure to AI or Machine Learning concepts\n\nPay range: $79.10 - $89.10 per hour\n\nOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.\n\nIf you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!\n\nRanked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
