This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.\n\nThis role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, workflow orchestration with Temporal, and backend development in Python or Go to optimize data storage, compute, and processing workloads.\n\nResponsibilities:\n Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance across distributed cloud environments\n Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and workflow orchestrations\n Optimize data storage, compute, and processing workloads using cloud-native services across Google Cloud Platform and Azure\n Design, build, and maintain resilient asynchronous workflows and distributed microservices using Temporal\n Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) modular frameworks using Terraform to ensure reliable, multi-cloud deployments\n Monitor, tune, and improve application performance, service reliability, and data flow efficiency\n\nRequirements:\n Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure and services across Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Microsoft Azure\n Strong proficiency and production experience in Python or Go for backend development, automation, and distributed systems tooling\n Practical experience using Terraform for multi-environment provisioning, state management, and infrastructure automation\n Hands-on experience developing, orchestrating, and scaling complex, failure-resilient distributed applications using Temporal\n Familiarity with modern containerization and orchestration tooling (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD automation pipelines\n\nDesired skills:\n Experience with cloud networking, cross-cloud interconnectivity, and IAM security best practices\n Background in event-driven architectures, message queues (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka)\n\nPay range: $78.55 - $86.55 per hour\n\nOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.\n\nIf you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!\n\nRanked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
