# Cloud Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cloud Engineer for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Richmond, VA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, workflow orchestration with Temporal, and backend development in Python or Go to optimize data storage, compute, and processing workloads. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance across distributed cloud environments Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and workflow orchestrations Optimize data storage, compute, and processing workloads using cloud-native services across Google Cloud Platform and Azure Design, build, and maintain resilient asynchronous workflows and distributed microservices using Temporal Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) modular frameworks using Terraform to ensure reliable, multi-cloud deployments
