Our mission is to improve the patient’s quality of life by linking basic science and the development of diagnostic and pre-clinical treatments. \nThe Institute for Biomarker Research (IBR), a division of GGG, is dedicated to the innovation of multi-variant-based personal diagnostics to assess disease evaluation, progression, regression, and patient stratification in order to establish a targeted, pharmacogenomic-based treatment approach tailored to every patient's specific clinical situation. \nIBR is currently seeking a Research Associate. This position is in-person, in Hamilton, NJ.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and validate microbiological and molecular diagnostic assays. \nDesign and perform experiments and analyze data using diverse procedures and laboratory equipment. \nProperly record details of the procedures used and data collected; create reports to CLIA/CAP standards. \nConduct laboratory tests according to equipment specifications and standard operation procedures (SOPs). \nPerform reagent preparation and proper handling of biological samples in a BSL 2 setting. \nCollaborate with Reference Laboratories and the Clinical Laboratory division for projects. \nRoutinely participate in meetings and scientific journal article discussions. \n\nJob Qualifications: General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) required\nBachelor’s degree in relevant field is required. Strong background in Molecular Biology and Genetics is a plus. \nThe ideal candidate would be well versed in aseptic, microbiological, molecular, and cellular biology techniques.
