This full-time, on-site role is essential to delivering a seamless and welcoming patient experience.\nThis position requires:\n Prior experience working at a medical office front desk, including patient check-in and check-out processes. \n Proficiency in insurance verification to ensure accurate coverage prior to patient appointments. \n Spanish language fluency to communicate effectively with our diverse patient population. \n Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting. \nYou will handle patient reception, insurance verification, scheduling, and administrative support, working closely with our clinical team to ensure efficient operations. Epic EHR experience and orthopedic front desk experience are highly valued.\nKey Responsibilities\n Greet and assist patients in alignment with our Mission and Values. \n Perform patient check-in/check-out, ensuring prior authorizations, accurate guarantor information, and all required paperwork are completed. \n Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays, self-pay balances, and other billing-related payments. \n Schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments and visits. \n Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. \n Collaborate with on-site clinical teams and off-site support staff. \n Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and patient-ready. \n Assist clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed. \nSchedule\n Part-time, 2-3 days a week\n Primary location: Joliet and Aurora, IL, United States (with potential temporary assignments to other locations as needed).\nRequirements\nQualifications\nEducation:\n High school diploma or equivalent (required) \n Associate degree or relevant training (preferred) \n Experience:\n Minimum 2 years in a medical front desk or customer service role (medical office experience required). \n Insurance verification experience (required). \n Epic EHR experience (preferred). \n Orthopedic front desk experience (preferred). \n Skills & Abilities:\n Fluent in English (required) and Spanish (required for patient interaction). \n Excellent verbal and written communication skills. \n Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. \n Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy environment. \n Proficiency in scheduling systems and basic computer applications.\n Benefits\nAbout Genesis\nAt Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, our mission is to improve the quality of life for our patients through advanced orthopedic and sports medicine care delivered with personalized attention.
