of backend features, from refining requirements with Product to delivering robust production-ready solutions\nProactively challenge and improve product and technical decisions\nEvolve the system core, APIs, and data layer\nOptimize performance, scalability, and reliability under demanding workloads\nBalance fast product increments with sustainable technical architecture\nWe would like you to have:\n8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong backend focus\nDeep understanding of CS fundamentals (OOP, algorithms, data structures)\nExtensive experience with data storages: RDBMS, columnar databases, search engines and other NoSQL technologies\nProven experience in agentic engineering\nStrong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin\nExperience with system-level refactoring\nStrong experience with Spring and the Spring ecosystem\nAbility to detect and resolve performance bottlenecks\nAbility to learn quickly in complex domains\nInterest in life sciences, data science, and ML/AI applications\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nFluent English\nIt would be nice if you have:\nKnowledge of biology and genetics\nExperience with profiling, tracing,
