moving AI from possibility to production in real-world enterprise environments every day.\nPosition Summary: The Workday Financial Systems Analyst will serve as a functional and technical subject matter expert for Workday Financials, supporting both implementation enhancements and post-production optimization. \nThis role will help design, configure, test, and support the full suite of Workday Financial functional areas, including: \nCore Financials (General Ledger)\nAccounting Center\nTax\nAdvanced Accounting (Alternate Ledger Currency, Multicurrency, Revaluation, Alternate Account Sets)\nFinancial Reporting\nBusiness Assets\nBanking & Cash Management\nAccounting Center/Prism\nSecurity\nThis position plays a critical role in ensuring financial data integrity, SOX compliance, automation maturity, and continuous process improvement across our global finance ecosystem.\nKey Responsibilities: Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Product stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday Financials solutions.\nDesign, configure, test, and document enhancements across Workday Financial modules.\nSupport bi-annual Workday releases, including impact analysis, regression testing, and production deployment coordination.\nServe as a Workday Financials SME, providing functional support and troubleshooting issues submitted via ServiceNow.\nDocument root cause analysis and resolutions in accordance with Genesys governance standards.\nIdentify and implement process improvements that drive automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.\nSupport the maintenance of existing Accounting Center use cases, learn to troubleshoot batch errors and strive to maintain accuracy of resulting journals.\nAssist in configuration and maintenance of Business Processes, Account Posting Rules, Worktags, and Security Roles.\nSupport SOX compliance efforts including periodic security audits and documentation controls.\nCollaborate with IT and integration teams on Workday-integrated third-party systems such as tax engines, reconciliation tools, banking systems, and accrual processes.\nSupport financial reporting needs and ensure data integrity across ledgers, book codes, currencies, and alternate account sets.\nRequired Qualifications:\n8 years of hands-on Workday Financials experience.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls.\nExperience working in Workday Fins ERP support role or implementation role.\nDemonstrated experience configuring and supporting multiple Workday Financial functional areas.\nExperience supporting a SOX-controlled environment.\nExperience working in Jira and incident ticket-driven support model (e.g., ServiceNow).\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to see the big picture and understand impacts on downstream systems or other Workday modules.\nWork performed is accurately, reliably, and clearly documented for others’ review.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities quickly.\nAbility to learn organization model and work with cross-functional teams within IT and business and across different regions (e.g., North America, APAC, EMEA, LATAM)\nSelf-motivated and able to work on critical tasks independently and as a member of a team.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nWorking familiarity with Consolidated Reporting, Multicurrency, Alternate Ledger Account Sets, Revaluation, Book Codes, Allocations, and Alternate Ledger Currency.\nBackground in Accounting, Finance, Tax preferred.\nAdvanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial analysis).\nExperience with Workday EIBs and integration tools.\nWorkday security configuration knowledge in a SOX-controlled environment.\nBachelor's degree in management information systems, accounting, finance, or related fields.\nWorking hours- 4:00 PM-1:00 AM IST\n#LI-GR1\n#LI-Remote\nWorking at Genesys\nAI at enterprise scale -
