documentation.\nQualifications\n3–5+ years of hands-on experience in COBOL development.\n\nStrong programming skills in both COBOL and Java are required.\n\nSolid understanding of legacy systems, backend development, and application maintenance.\n\nExperience in code analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.\n\nGood knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data processing.\n\nUnderstanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software testing, and deployment processes.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.\n\nNice to Have\n\nExperience in Banking Loan / Lending Systems is highly preferred.\n\nKnowledge of Loan Origination, Loan Management, Loan Repayment, or Loan Processing.\n\nExperience with Mainframe technologies such as JCL, CICS, or DB2.\n\nExperience integrating COBOL applications with Java, APIs, or external systems.\n\nFamiliarity with Core Banking Systems and financial transaction processing.\n\nKey Technical Skills\n\nMust-have: COBOL, Java, Legacy System Development, SQL, Debugging, Troubleshooting\n\nNice-to-have: Banking, Loan / Lending Systems, Core Banking, Mainframe,
