As a Research Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced researchers to develop and improve generative models while ensuring their safe and effective deployment.\nWhat You'll Do\nContribute to the development of novel machine learning techniques for visual generative modeling\n\nImplement and experiment with various generative architectures (Diffusion Models, GANs, Transformers)\n\nHelp optimize model performance and scaling capabilities\n\nAssist in ensuring safe and robust model deployment\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research innovations\n\nParticipate in research discussions and contribute to technical documentation\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (recent graduates welcome)\n\n2+ years of experience in Machine Learning\n\nStrong foundation in machine learning, particularly generative models\n\nSolid programming skills in Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow\n\nExperience with deep learning frameworks and model training\n\nUnderstanding of fundamental concepts in computer vision and generative AI\n\nProject experience (academic or personal) with generative models\n\nClear communication skills and ability to work in a research team\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nResearch projects or thesis work in generative AI\n\nExperience with different types of generative models:\nDiffusion Models\n\nGANs\n\nTransformer architectures\n\nLarge Language Models\n\nFamiliarity with distributed computing and GPU optimization\n\nContributions to open-source ML projects\n\nAcademic publications or workshop papers\n\nExperience with ML infrastructure and deployment\n\nThis position is onsite at our San Francisco office (4-5 days per week).\nWe are a fast-paced startup, and our team works very hard to build impactful products quickly.
