Digitalization &Collaboration\nWork closely with manufacturing shopfloor teams, automation engineers, process engineers, and IT/Digital teams to implement and enhance digital solutions across digital transformation opportunities across production, quality, maintenance, and material movement activities.\nDrive alignment between business requirements and technical solutions within manufacturing environments.\n\nSystem Integration & IT/OTConnectivity\nDesign and implement integration of shopfloor systems, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and digital tools.\nEnable connectivity between machines, PLCs, sensors, MES, historians, ERP platforms, and advanced analytics systems.\nCollaborate with technical teams to validate system architecture, data models, and interface requirements.\nEnsure reliable and scalable data exchange across manufacturing and enterprise systems.\n\nShopfloor Activities & OperationalEnablement\nParticipate directly in shopfloor digital initiatives related to production monitoring, process optimization, quality visibility, downtime tracking, and workflow digitization.\nWork with plant teams to improve real-time visibility into manufacturing operations through connected systems and dashboards.\nDrive digitization of manual operational activities through automation, workflow tools, and intelligent data capture.\nContribute to deployment of digital capabilities that improve operator effectiveness, process adherence, and decision-making on the shopfloor.\n\nIndustrial Data & intelligentManufacturing\nAI use cases within manufacturing operations, including intelligent sensing, machine awareness, anomaly detection, and adaptive decision systems.\nCollaborate with automation teams to integrate AI-driven solutions with physical equipment and shopfloor processes.\nEnable use of real-time operational data from sensors, cameras, PLCs, and connected assets for AI-based process improvements.\nContribute to deployment of AI-enabled workflows for predictive insights, visual inspection, process optimization, and autonomous operational recommendations.\nWork on solutions that connect physical systems with digital intelligence to improve safety, quality, throughput, and asset utilization.\n\nUser Support & ContinuousImprovement \nProvide end-user support, training, and guidance for business applications.\nContribute to rollout of digital manufacturing solutions, pilot programs, and scalable implementations across sites.\nParticipate in requirement gathering, process mapping, solution definition, testing, and deployment activities.\nMaintain documentation for system interactions, workflows, and technical requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for innovation within plant operations.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field. \n5+ years of experience in a shopfloor application SME.\n· Experiencesupporting enterprise or manufacturing-related applications.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing systems such as MES\nAbility to troubleshoot industrial networks and machine connectivity issues\nPreferred Qualifications/ Skills\nExperience supporting applications in manufacturing or industrial environments.\nUnderstanding of systems such as MES, ERP, historians, or shopfloor digital applications.\nFamiliarity with databases, SQL queries, and log analysis for troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of system integration concepts, APIs, middleware, or interface monitoring.\nUnderstanding of communication between applications and cloud platforms.\nExperience with ticketing tools and incident/problem management processes.\nAbility to support testing, user acceptance validation, and release activities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExperience in documenting requirements, support processes, and maintaining technical documentation.\nStrong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills.\nDeep understanding of customer and business needs.\nAbility to work on less defined
