The role covers operating system and DB2 administration, LPAR management, and the supporting Brocade SAN fabric.\nThis position is being established in India as a designated back-up to the single AS400 resource THE CLIENT retains in the United States, providing continuity of coverage for the platform through its remaining lifecycle.\nManagement of the AS400 operating system and DB2 database environment.\nSupport and administration of three production instances of JD Edwards running on AS400.\nSupport and administration of multiple JD Edwards development environments.\nManagement of LPARs (logical partitions) across the IBM Power estate.\nManagement of the Brocade switches and SAN fabric supporting the AS400 stack.\nSupport and administration of the Lawson application, which is also hosted on AS400.\nAct as back-up to the US-based AS400 resource, ensuring continuity of platform coverage.\nThe successful candidate will operate within the following THE CLIENT infrastructure landscape:\n Compute & virtualisation: VMware vCenter, Nutanix, hyperconverged compute (Dell VxRail), Dell PowerEdge, IBM Power / IBM i (LPARs).
