In this role, you will join the team responsible for producing mRNA at our Delft facility. Working in a collaborative and hands-on laboratory environment, you will contribute to the manufacturing, purification, quality control, and documentation of mRNA products, helping ensure reliable delivery to researchers and biotech innovators across Europe.\nJob title: mRNA Production Technician\nLocation: Biotech Campus Delft, South Holland, Netherlands\n\nScheme: 100% onsite\nTime: Full-time (40 hours / week) Mon-Fri 9:00-17:30.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nProcess DNA via PCR, digestion, and purification to prepare template for in-vitro transcription.\nPerform various enzymatic reactions to produce and process mRNA.\nPurify mRNA using HPLC, spin columns, and other technologies.\nRun quality checks on in-process and final products. This includes gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, production raw materials and consumables etc.\nFollow production S.O.P.s to ensure compliance to validated processes.\nKeep good documentation for production processes and materials used in process.\nKeep track of inventory using an inventory management system.\nOrder materials internally and externally for production use.\nAssists with the multistep synthesis and process development of key reagents.\nConduct routine lab maintenance procedures.\nAny other tasks needed as deemed by production manager.\nWhat We Expect From You\nCompleted MBO Level 4, Associate Degree (Ad), HBO Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent international qualification in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.\nExperience working with mRNA or oligonucleotide chemistry.\nExperience with PCR, HPLC, or enzymatic reactions.\nExperience with techniques commonly used in the isolation and characterization of organic intermediates (column chromatography, HPLC, MS, etc.).\nAbility to work as part of a small cross-disciplinary team to accomplish both short term and long term goals.\nExperience successfully working in a fast-pace, high-demand environment is highly desirable.\nAbility to communicate with peers and managers in a polite and concise manner is highly desirable.\nFluent in English.\nPlease note that GenScript does not provide sponsorship for work visas for this position.
