Join a company driven by quality products across an evolving range of industries.\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\nThe Manufacturing Engineer II is the catalyst for technical problem solving and continuous improvement on the manufacturing line. This role works as part of a team dedicated to implementing and revising processes to maximize efficiency and meet customer expectations.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nMonitor production process to improve; product flow, yield, and uptime.\n\nOptimize current equipment and improve process capabilities.\n\nDevelop the team to utilize problem solving techniques and methods, and provide leadership in the identification, analysis, and resolution of issues.\n\nLead continuous improvement efforts within the line support team and manage product and process improvement initiatives on the production line.\n\nIdentify and implement process improvements to eliminate variation in the production process caused by equipment and/or product design.\n\nPrioritize projects and issues that are associated with the production line using best business practices.\n\nLeverage technical resources to incorporate line improvements and remove barriers.\n\nRepresent the production team by interfacing with other departments to ensure that quality and customer requirements are met. Work with production Group Leaders, Production Support Engineers (PSEs), and team members to resolve quality issues, line rejects/RMA (Return Materials Authorization).\n\nOwns technical responses to 8D/RMA quality concerns and control methods to maintain and improve process capability\n\nMentor incoming PSEs, focusing on developing technical skills and problem-solving issues.\n\nAssist in the development of Control Plans, FMEA’s, Process Flow Charts and Assembly Drawings.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nHOW YOU’LL DO IT\nAttention to Detail - Ensuring information is complete and accurate; following up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.\n\nChampion Change - Understanding the need for change and helps planning for and accommodating it as creatively and positively as possible.\n\nPlanning and Aligning - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.\n\nProblem Solving - Defining a problem, determining the cause, identifying, prioritizing and selecting alternatives for a solution, and implementing a solution.\n\nOptimizing Work Processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.\n\nMentoring and Coaching - Providing timely guidance and feedback (both positive and constructive) to help others recognize strengths and development opportunities.
