Even with all these accolades, Genting Malaysia is constantly expanding and making big waves in the hospitality industry.\nIf you are searching for a dynamic career full of exciting growth opportunities; look no further and join us today!\nResponsibilities:\nAs technical lead to plan, define and establish Enterprise Data Warehouse architecture design, data management processes and analytics architectural solutions that are aligned with the objectives and standards of the Enterprise Data Management strategy to support business objectives and analytical needs.\nLead, manage and provide the technical leadership of Data Engineering Team in providing secured, consistent, reliable and sustainable data solutions to support business decisions.\nAssess, develop and implement new capabilities in Data Management and Data Integration across the organization to provide better end-user experience and improve process efficiency.\nPlan, establish and implement development guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure effective data management and data pipelines implementation to ensure optimal performance, stability, and extensibility.\nLead and manage Data Engineering and BI projects, overseeing requirements gathering sessions with business and technical users, reviewing source system data architecture and schemas, analyzing the requirements.\nPlan and review technical design documents such as integration specification, business requirements, data model, data marts, BI reporting, and dashboard design to ensure all project scope, business requirements and changes are properly documented and provide centralization of knowledge depository.\nOversee and manage system Support (Enterprise Data warehouse, BI reporting and various data integration points for both internal and external systems) and manage customer satisfaction by providing high quality of services delivered to end users as per SLA to minimize business disruption in the services needed by the customer.\nMonitors and guides the overall effectiveness of the team by providing direction and support to team members on work deliverables to ensure the team can achieve the defined goals while maintaining a high-performance culture.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related discipline. \nMinimum of 8 years’ experience in data architecture and data related experience (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Management and/or Business Intelligence) \nTechnical expertise in data warehouse design, data modelling, ETL architecture design and optimization, performance Tuning and Solution architecture design.\nStrong experience in SAS programming Skills (Base SAS, SAS DI Studio, SAS Macro)\nStrong SQL skills (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar databases). \nExperience designing enterprise ETL and data integration solutions.\nExperience in data governance, data security and data quality frameworks.\nExperience in analyzing production deployments, improving data quality in a data warehouse and making recommendations for data processing optimization.\nGood critical thinking and problem-solving abilities \nAble to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing \nAbility to analyze and understand complex problems and explain technical information in business terms\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to lead technical discussions and architecture reviews.\nAble to work independently and in a team.\nBe part of an exciting history-in-the-making, help shape the future with us.
