This role is responsible for receiving, shipping, inventory management, ERP transactions, and cross-functional coordination to ensure materials are available when and where they are needed. The Supply Chain Coordinator will also identify opportunities to improve material flow, warehouse organization, and inventory accuracy while supporting operational excellence across the business.\nThe starting hourly pay rate for this position is$23.50 per hour. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.\nYou Will\nCoordinate inbound and outbound material movements to support operational needs.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and transactions within company systems.\nSupport inventory control activities, including cycle counts and reconciliation efforts.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, laboratory, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability.\nMonitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment activities to prevent shortages.\nMaintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.\nTrack and manage material movements while ensuring compliance with company procedures.\nUtilize material handling equipment and tools safely and effectively.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management, material flow, and operational efficiency.\nAssist with documentation, reporting, and other administrative supply chain activities as needed.\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPrevious experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or a related field preferred.\nExperience working with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.\nForklift experience or certification preferred.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nValid driver's license preferred.\nBusiness Overview\nGenus is an agricultural biotechnology pioneer.
