We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic FP&AinRaleigh, NC to join us in fulfilling our mission, while utilizing our values of excellence, improvement, and connection. In this role, you will lead the modernization and ongoing management of Enact’s enterprise financial model, enabling more effective forecasting, strategic planning, scenario analysis, and business decision-making. You will serve as a critical partner to Finance leadership and business stakeholders, helping the organization evaluate strategic initiatives, model potential acquisitions and growth opportunities, and leverage technology to improve financial planning capabilities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary owner and steward of Enact's enterprise financial model, ensuring alignment across forecasting, planning, long-range outlooks, and strategic decision-making processes.
- Lead the redesign and modernization of the Company's financial modeling capabilities, simplifying existing structures and developing scalable, sustainable solutions that support future business needs.
- Build analytical frameworks that connect operational, financial, and strategic drivers across the business, improving visibility into performance and future outcomes.
- Establish documentation, governance, and modeling standards that improve transparency, consistency, and long-term sustainability of the Company's planning framework.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance forecasting, modeling, analytics, and planning capabilities, supporting the evolution toward more automated and integrated FP&A processes.
- Develop advanced scenario modeling and strategic planning capabilities to assess business performance, capital deployment alternatives, growth opportunities, and emerging risks.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Risk, Corporate Development, and other business leaders to evaluate mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and diversification opportunities, translating findings into enterprise planning and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with FP&A leadership to ensure business forecasts, strategic plans, and enterprise scenarios are grounded in a consistent and reliable financial modeling foundation.
- Support executive leadership by developing analyses, presentations, and recommendations for critical strategic decisions.
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certification demonstrating financial expertise.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, financial modeling, investment banking, consulting, or related analytical roles.
- Experience leveraging automation, AI-enabled tools, and advanced analytics to improve financial planning processes. • Extensive experience developing, enhancing, and governing complex financial models that support forecasting, planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making. • Strong understanding of financial statements, capital planning, and the interdependencies across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. • Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership. • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing stakeholders, and managing multiple priorities in a matrixed environment. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning, business intelligence, and data visualization tools. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience within investment banking environment highly preferred • Experience within financial services, insurance, mortgage insurance, banking, or a similarly regulated industry. • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or strategic investments. • Experience evaluating or implementing enterprise planning, forecasting, or financial modeling platforms.
