This role coordinates input from cross-functional teams and drafts compelling proposals by blending newly written content with boilerplate and past proposals to ensure full compliance with all requirements and evaluation criteria.\nViable candidates must be willing to travel onsite at GSI's headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida for New Hire Orientation and as needed.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReview RFPs, RFIs, and other opportunities to support research, analysis, and response planning\nCreate outlines and shell documents for proposal responses\nFacilitate and lead proposal kick-off meetings, strategy meetings, and proposal review sessions\nCollect and coordinate input from cross-functional teams and subject matter experts\nArticulate win themes, technical solutions, discriminators, and key requirements clearly and consistently throughout proposal documents\nApply formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading skills to develop organized proposal drafts \nLead Color Team reviews and manage follow-up revisions\nEnsure overall proposal quality, consistency, and compliance with solicitation requirements\nPrepare final master files in Word and PDF formats for submission\nOrganize and maintain proposal files and folders within SharePoint\nManage multiple proposals and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines\nParticipate in all proposal debriefs and lessons-learned sessions \nMaintain and update proposal boilerplate content following each submission\nStay current on product offerings to ensure boilerplate content reflects the latest features and capabilities\nThis role may require occasional night or weekend work to meet critical submission deadlines\nRequirements\nWork Experience and Knowledge:\nExperience working for a software development/information technology organization desired\nExperience with state and local government proposals preferred\nEffectively collaborate with others to establish good working relationships within the team\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently\nManages time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently\nMeets demanding deadlines in a timely manner \nMaintains stable performance under pressure or opposition, such as time pressure or unexpected challenges \nDemonstrate a strong work ethic through consistent attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and commitment\nCredentials and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in English, Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field\nMinimum 3 years of successful proposal experience, preferably in government or the software/technology sector. \nAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered\nProficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint)\nUnderstanding of proposal techniques (i.e. layout, graphics, strategy-to-win)\nEqual Opportunity Employer.
