We're looking for an HR leader who enjoys being on the plant floor, partnering with leaders, and helping employees succeed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees while driving talent, engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness across multiple operational locations in the greater Houston area.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a key member of the HR team, you'll support a broad range of human resources initiatives while partnering closely with plant leadership to create a positive, productive, and engaged workforce.\nEmployee Relations & Leadership Support\nServe as a trusted resource to employees and managers on employee relations matters, performance management, policy interpretation, compensation, benefits, and workplace concerns.\nPartner with leaders to draft and review corrective actions, disciplinary documentation, and performance improvement plans.\nConduct workplace investigations and provide practical solutions to resolve complex employee issues.\nAct as a liaison between employees and leadership on escalated matters.\nVisible Presence on the Plant Floor\nBuild strong relationships with employees by maintaining a consistent presence in manufacturing and warehouse operations.\nAnswer questions, address concerns proactively, and help foster a positive employee experience.\nTalent & Organizational Development\nSupport people strategies that attract, develop, and retain top talent.\nAssist with succession planning, employee development, and workforce planning initiatives.\nIdentify training needs and partner with site leadership to implement development opportunities.\nRecruiting & Onboarding\nSupport full-cycle recruiting activities, including job postings, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding.\nPartner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, success profiles, and recruiting strategies.\nHelp create an exceptional onboarding experience for new employees.\nData, Compliance & Continuous Improvement\nTrack corrective action and exit interview trends and recommend actions to improve engagement and reduce organizational risk.\nEnsure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR procedures.\nParticipate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEmployee Engagement\nSupport employee recognition, community involvement, and engagement programs, including employee-led THRIVE teams.\nServe as a resource for payroll and benefits questions, ensuring timely and accurate support.\nWhat Makes You Successful\nYou are someone who:\nEnjoys partnering directly with employees and leaders.\nCan navigate sensitive situations with professionalism, tact, and sound judgment.\nBalances empathy with accountability.\nBrings energy, urgency, and a continuous improvement mindset.\nIs comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment where no two days are the same.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum 3 years of Human Resources experience, ideally supporting manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or operational environments.\nKnowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.\nAbility to work onsite consistently in support of operations employees.\nWillingness to work flexible schedules and support off-shift employees as needed (up to 25% of the time).\nPreferred\nExperience with HRIS platforms, preferably Dayforce.\nStrong Microsoft Office skills.\nExceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to influence and partner effectively with leaders at all levels.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nFlexible, adaptable, and resilient in a changing business environment.\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is more than a traditional HR role.
