This role prioritizes safety at all times-both personal and team safety-while supporting production goals for minimal scrap, on-time delivery, and overall productivity. Assemblers follow method sheets, adhere to critical processes, and contribute to a customer-focused manufacturing environment. The position may involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nIn addition to all Assembler I and II duties, Assembler III is responsible for the following:\nSupport safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives that eliminate waste, reduce risk, improve efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and support ,operational excellence objectives.\nAnalyze recurring defects, process disruptions, and production losses; lead or support root cause investigations, corrective actions, and complex troubleshooting activities involving manufacturing processes, equipment, testing, and workmanship standards.\nServe as a technical resource by providing guidance on assembly methods, testing procedures, critical manufacturing processes, product requirements, and workmanship standards across multiple product families and production cells.\nDemonstrate proficiency across a minimum of seven production cells, including critical manufacturing processes, testing procedures, operating instructions, and product-specific requirements, while supporting production needs across the department.\nSupport employee training, qualification, and certification activities; develop employee capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing while maintaining required IPC and advanced technical certifications identified by the business Required Skills/Abilities:\nAdvanced knowledge of assembly methods, manufacturing processes, testing procedures, critical process controls, and product requirements across multiple production cells.\nAbility to analyze and troubleshoot complex safety, quality, productivity, equipment, and process-related issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.\nAbility to support continuous improvement, Kaizen, corrective action, and operational excellence initiatives that produce measurable results.\nAbility to train, mentor, certify, and develop employees while evaluating competency in standardized work and critical manufacturing processes.\n•Ability to obtain and maintain IPC and other business-required technical certifications and serve as a department technical resource.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.\nTypically 3+ years of assembly, manufacturing, or technical production experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nSuccessful completion of all Assembler II requirements.\nDemonstrated expertise across multiple production cells, manufacturing processes, testing methods, and product families.\nProven ability to support or lead employee training, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement activities.\nObtain and maintain IPC and other business-required certifications applicable to the role.\nWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
