They are accountable for the management, planning and execution for all types of M&C projects. Along with accurate/timely reporting to the Global Innovation PMO, Process Automation and M&C Leadership. The Program Manager will challenge the larger business strategy and product development portfolio for M&C. They will also align with other department heads within Process Automation for proper resource allocation. Along with standard management expectations defined at M&C, the Program Manager will lead and ensure proper project standards/duties are followed by Project Leaders (PL).\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement standardized program and project management practices for M&C, ensuring consistent methodologies, governance, and execution across initiatives.\nInfluence and contribute to the product development roadmap and strategic business decisions for M&C, providing leadership that challenges assumptions and drives alignment with organizational goals.\nStrengthen, refine, and maintain the local product development process for M&C by collaborating with key stakeholders and promoting continuous improvement in project execution.\nProvide accurate, timely, and transparent reporting to the Global Innovation PMO, Process Automation leadership, and M&C leadership, ensuring visibility into progress, risks, and performance.\nWork cross-functionally with department heads to resolve escalated issues involving scope, budget, and schedule, maintaining project quality and balancing competing constraints within the project management triangle.\nComplete Role Standard Work and deliver all other duties as assigned.\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nExcellent leadership ability\nExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills\nHigh degree of business acumen\nProject Initiation skills including uncertainty and needs analysis, estimating techniques, and executive presentation\nProject Organization & Leadership skills including personal and team management, organizational influences, and conflict resolution\nDetailed Project Planning including defining objectives, developing project charters, and optimizing project plans\nProject Monitoring & Control including trending and forecasting processes, reporting, and change management\nProject Risk Management including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation plans\nEffective visual management for project reporting, dynamic resource allocation, and risk mitigation\nEducation and Experience:\nBS Degree in Science or Engineering field with 5-7 years of directly relevant experience in product development/operational projects or MS degree in Science or Engineering field with 3-5 years of directly relevant experience in product development/operational projects. Project leadership certification preferred.\nExperience leading software and hardware engineering projects, creating industrial or medical electronic products with C, C++, python. Experience leading teams of people preferred.\nExperience with product development processes from product requirements to launch and sustaining, including product requirements, architecture, hardware and software development, verification, manufacturing production and launch. Understanding of classical project management, SCRUM and Agile Methodologies preferred.\nWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
