The role is responsible for developing technical solutions, supporting project specifications and tenders through to award, preparing design documentation and material take-offs, and supporting awarded projects in execution until commissioning, driving project opportunities that contribute to business growth and profitability.\nTechnical Consulting & Specification Development\nCollaborate with owners, end-users, consultants, EPCs and contractors to promote and specify GF piping solutions into project specifications.\nConduct technical presentations, seminars and product training sessions for customers and project stakeholders.\n Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable piping system solutions for customer applications.\nSupport project design reviews and identify opportunities to optimise system performance and lifecycle costs.\nTender & Bid Support\nWork closely with the Sales team to support project bids and tenders.\nReview technical specifications, tender requirements, drawings and project documentation.\nEnsure technical compliance of proposed solutions and alignment with commercial objectives.\nAssist in preparing technical proposals, compliance statements and project-related documentation.\nTrack submitted tenders and follow up on technical clarifications, tender meetings and status through to award.\nTechnical Design & Engineering Documentation\nPrepare piping information lists, system layouts, technical drawings and project documentation in accordance with project requirements and company standards.\nDevelop piping general specifications, piping arrangement concepts and piping support standards.\nUtilise AutoCAD and Revit software to develop and maintain project layouts and technical drawings.\nProvide engineering calculations and design support to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.\nCost & Technical Control / Project Execution Support\nGenerate Material Take-Offs (MTO) and Bills of Materials (BOM) based on project designs and specifications.\nSupport project costing and technical evaluations to ensure competitiveness and profitability.\nMonitor project requirements to ensure adherence to technical, financial, quality and timeline objectives.\nProvide technical support during project execution and resolve engineering-related issues when required.\nLead or participate in project kick-off meetings and act as the key technical contact for assigned projects from award to commissioning. \nReview customer BOM / material lists for accuracy and engineering soundness, advising on options to reduce errors, costs and excess materials. \nAgree project material delivery schedules with the customer and coordinate supply with order fulfilment, operations and supply chain teams. \nConduct site visits and inspections; act as gatekeeper for GF quality by checking correct installation methods of contractors and reporting quality issues. \nProvide regular project progress updates and escalate issues and risks to relevant teams. \nBusiness Development & Market Expansion\nSupport the expansion of project and fabrication business opportunities in Thailand.\nIdentify emerging market trends, customer needs and project opportunities.\nWork closely with Sales and Business Development teams to develop new applications and market segments.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with consultants, EPCs, engineering firms and key customers.\nOther Duties\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Country Manager or Management Team.\nSupport cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement activities.\nContact person:\nJoan Chua\nBusiness Partner, People Team\n submit your application via the ‘Apply’ button.
