The position is responsible for ensuring the correct manufacturing parts are picked, issued, and received for maintenance and authorized personal.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:\nDaily inventory/cycle count and requisition parts to order.\nPrepare periodic inventory or maintain perpetual inventory of parts and equipment.\nKeep accurate records of parts inventory and incoming orders daily.\nReceive and issue parts in system daily.\nIssue parts and equipment to workers and maintain records of parts and equipment issued and returned.\nReceive and put away parts delivered daily by end of shift.\nReceive and process all Purchase Orders (PO’s) real-time.\nSystematically organize and maintain parts room in accordance with instructions.\nCommunicate with all authorized team members daily to timely and correctly review any orders for parts requested.\nCommunicate part needs with shop leads, supervisor and buyer.\nMaintain returned parts for proper inventory maintenance.\nAssist with annual evaluation of parts usage to determine what needs to be stocked and what needs to be removed from stock per manager and usage reports.\nManning the crib window/desk.\nEnsure crib security/crib access.\nMonitor and maintain outside/ overnight and weekend requests for parts.\nUse forklift to move parts off of trucks and move around plant as needed\nMust be able to lift up to 70 pounds with a team or assisted.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position will not have supervisory responsibility.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\n RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent Plus 1+ year(s) of parts or similar experience\nStrong communication skills both verbal and written\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel\n\n PreferredPoultry experience\nPrior experience with EAM Information System\n\nGeorge’s is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
