This position exercises sound judgment in flight planning, weather evaluation, aircraft readiness, and operational decision-making while complying with Federal Aviation Administration requirements, company policies, and applicable aircraft limitations.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:\nOperate company aircraft safely and professionally in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations, company policies, approved procedures, and aircraft limitations. \nPlan and conduct assigned flights, including route selection, fuel requirements, weather review, airport suitability, aircraft performance, and alternate planning. \nComplete preflight and postflight inspections and confirm that the aircraft, required documents, navigation data, equipment, and emergency supplies are airworthy and ready for operation. \nReview weather conditions, Notices to Air Missions (NOTAMs), airport information, and other operational factors; delay, divert, or cancel a flight when conditions do not support safe operation. \nProvide passengers with clear safety briefings and deliver professional, discreet, and service-oriented support throughout each trip. \nMaintain accurate flight logs and operational records, including flight time, duty time, fuel usage, discrepancies, expenses, and other required documentation. \nMaintain all required pilot certificates, medical qualifications, aircraft type ratings, recurrent training, and currency requirements. \nProtect confidential company and passenger information and maintain appropriate discretion regarding travel schedules and business activities. \nSupport aircraft cleanliness, stocking, security, and readiness, including coordination of fueling, catering, ground transportation, and hangar services. \nRemain available for variable schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, overnight travel, and schedule changes based on business needs. \nRespond appropriately to abnormal and emergency situations and complete required safety and incident reporting. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position will not have supervisory responsibility.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\n RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent. \nCurrent Federal Aviation Administration Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, as required for the assigned aircraft and operation.\nCurrent Federal Aviation Administration medical certificate appropriate for the assigned operation.\nCurrent instrument rating and applicable aircraft type rating(s).\nMinimum of 3 years of professional flight experience and 1,500 hours of total flight time; additional flight-time minimums may apply based on aircraft type and insurance requirements.\nAbility to meet all Federal Aviation Administration currency, training, and recordkeeping requirements.\nValid driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain required travel documentation.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule and travel overnight as business needs require.\n\n PreferredBachelor’s degree in aviation, aeronautics, business, or a related field. \nType rating EMB-550.\nAirline Transport Pilot Certificate.\nPrevious corporate or business aviation experience.\nExperience operating the company’s assigned aircraft type.\nTraining or experience in safety management systems, crew resource management, and emergency response procedures.\n\nGeorge’s is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
