The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:\nThis is an online adjunct instructor position. Faculty must respond to all emails and requests within 24 hours Monday-Thursday and within 48 hours on weekends (Friday - Sunday).\nTravel:\nTravel to other campuses may be required to attend meetings, trainings, and professional development.\nRequired Education and Experience:\nMaster’s degree in Accounting or master’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited institution\nValid Driver’s License\n\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nPhD in teaching discipline\nSatisfactory completion of Legal Environment/Regulations component of CPA certification\nCertifications (Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Payroll Professional, Certified Tax Preparer)\nTeaching experience at the postsecondary level\nDirectly related field experience\nOnline teaching experience\nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
