This is a hands-on construction role that combines commercial driving with supporting the crew on the jobsite.\nYou’ll report to our Colorado Springs location each Monday and travel with the crew for the workweek. Candidates must live within commuting distance and be prepared to stay out of town Monday through Friday.\nResponsibilities\nSafely drive company trucks and transport equipment and materials to and from jobsites.\n\nComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.\n\nLoad, unload, and properly secure equipment and materials.\n\nMaintain required driving and inspection records.\n\nFollow applicable DOT requirements and company safety procedures.\n\nAssist the crew with guardrail layout, setup, and installation.\n\nUse hand and power tools and assist with manual digging and other physical tasks as needed.\n\nWork closely with the foreman and crew to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.\n\nQualifications\nValid Class A CDL.\n\nAt least two years of commercial driving experience.\n\nExperience securing and transporting equipment or construction materials.\n\nWillingness to perform physical construction work in addition to driving.\n\nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.\n\nAbility to commute to the Colorado Springs location and travel overnight Monday through Friday.\n\nPreferred Experience\nHeavy equipment operation.\n\nGuardrail installation or heavy highway construction.\n\nBasic mechanical knowledge, including hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.\n\nCompensation\n$28-$31per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.\nUS pay range for this role.\n$28—$31 USD\nSoil Nail Holdings and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
