This position serves as the primary field liaison between contractors, engineering, and project leadership to help ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and site safety requirements.\nResponsibilities:\nDay to day field oversight\nFirst line contact for contractor on daily issues\nCollaborate with Safety to ensure safe practices on jobsite\nEnsures communication between site and contractors\nMonitor daily progress, plans & specs adherence\nMonitors quality control \nMonitors schedule and reports any issues\nGenerated daily reports and documentation, photos\nHandles site logistics\nCoordinates submittals and approvals with engineering\nCoordinates site access and contractor site support needed\nWorks with Construction Managers to ensure successful projects\nSupport overall construction needs\nRequired to work off shifts to support construction\nEducation and Licensure\nAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferred, or demonstrated equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.\nSkills, Experience and Qualifications\nRequired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications\n8+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. \nDemonstrated commitment to construction safety and experience working within established safety programs and procedures.\nFamiliarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes.\nStrong organizational and communication skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced field environment and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.\nDue to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.\nDue to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. \nSuccessful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation.
