This role serves as a central communicator between Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to drive timely dispositions, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement of nonconformance processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate the end-to-end flow of Material Condition Reports, including identification, documentation, routing, and closure of nonconforming product.\nCollaborate closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to gather required information, clarify details, and ensure accurate and complete submissions.\nCommunicate status updates and drive timely disposition decisions to minimize production impact and maintain compliance with quality standards.\nMaintain data accuracy within quality systems (e.g., NCR databases, ERP/QMS modules).\nMonitor trends in nonconformances and assist in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives.\nSupport audits, quality reviews, and internal reporting by providing clear, organized MCR data and documentation.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to standardize, optimize, and improve MCR-related workflows and communication pathways.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nClear, consistent communication across stakeholders.\nReduced cycle time for dispositions and MCR closure.\nImproved accuracy and traceability of nonconformance data.\nStrong partnership with Engineering and Manufacturing to prevent recurrence and improve quality performance.\nEducation and Licensure\nHS Diploma.\nSkills, Experience and Qualifications\nRequired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications\nActive DOE Q or TS/SCI Clearance.\n5+ years of experience or equivalent education/years of experience. \nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions across teams.\nDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities.\nFamiliarity with nonconformance processes and QMS systems.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technical environment.\nContinuous improvement mindset with interest in refining processes and reducing quality escapes. \nDue to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.\nDue to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. \nSuccessful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation.
