We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.\nTo Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nCarry out accurate analyses using standard test methods and deliver timely, reliable data\nOperate analytical instruments (balances, ovens, wet chemistry tools, tensile testing equipment, and more)\nKeep laboratory equipment calibrated and functioning at peak performance\nRecord results in lab logbooks, worksheets, and information systems\nVerify data to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standardCollaborate with engineers and managers to communicate findings\nDocument, investigate, and help resolve nonconformance issues\nIdentify and troubleshoot abnormal inspection results or equipment inconsistencies\nConduct Measurement System Analysis to support data integrity\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment\nFollow all safety policies and promote safe work habits\nTrain new team members on QC test methods and procedures\nMonitor supply inventory and initiate reorders as needed\nContribute to additional project work as assigned\nEducation and Licensure\nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or similar; OR\nAssociate degree in chemical technology (or equivalent) with 1+ year QC lab experience; OR\nHigh School diploma with 3+ years of QC lab experience\nSkills, Experience and Qualifications\nRequired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications\nDue to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.\nDue to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. \nSuccessful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation.
