We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.\nTo Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nBusiness development; including bringing in new clients and obtaining repeat business from existing clients, leading proposal preparation, and developing and implementing a business development plan;\nTask and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability;\nParticipation and leadership in practice-oriented teams specializing in high-growth markets, such as PFAS and vapor intrusion;\nManagement and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors;\nWork plan development, data evaluation, and report writing;\nData analysis, including preparing maps and figures using GIS/Environmental Visualization Software (EVS) applications, and database management;\nPrepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;\nReview and manage written document production;\nPrepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties;\nConduct fieldwork including multi-media environmental sampling, sediment sampling and characterization, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction;\nDirect multi-disciplinary project teams;\nTask and project-level responsibility for scoping, performing, managing and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments;\nConsistent with our sell-manage-do business model, play a role supporting lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring; and\nHelp broaden our reputation via publishing and visibility at prominent industry conferences.\nEducation and Licensure\nBachelor's degree in engineering, geology or related field. (required)\nAdvanced degree in the same. (preferred)\nEngineer in Training (EIT) certification, if applicable. (preferred)\nSkills, Experience and Qualifications\nAt least 5 (7+ preferred) years of environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)\nAbility to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)\nCurrent OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers.
