Following on-the-job training and orientation, the candidates may:\nUpdate equipment /facility drawings\nWork with outside vendors and consultants, assist in managing contractors\nAssist Engineers on capex improvement projects\nManage smaller non-capex projects\nPlanning maintenance jobs and ordering parts\nDesign projects\nRequirements:\nHave completed at least two years of a degree from a recognized university in an Mechanical discipline\nRecord of high academic achievement (Minimum GPA 2.5; preferred GPA 3.0 or higher)\nExperience with Solid works design software, Autocad would be a benefit\nWell-rounded applicants with leadership roles in student organizations or extra-curricular activities \nMust be legally authorized to work in the Canada without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nDetail-oriented with great organizational qualities\nAbility to work independently and be a fast-learner\nGerdau believes in equal employment opportunity related to all employees and applicants for employment.
