If so, we want to hear from you!\n$29.25/hr starting wage plus benefits!\nWhat You’ll Bring\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\nValid Class A CDL (Tanker and HazMat endorsements are a plus)\nMinimum of 9 months experience operating large mobile equipment or hauling vehicles\nComfort using smartphone/GPS technology\nBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset)\nKnowledge of traffic regulations and load restrictions\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions\nFlexibility to work in various weather conditions\nStrong customer service skills\nWhat You’ll Do\nSafely operate diesel straight trucks and tractor/trailers (roll-off, dump, and van trailers)\nPick up and deliver steel products and materials to suppliers and customers\nFollow established procedures while ensuring full compliance with DOT regulations\nRead and work from invoices, shipping tickets, and electronic instructions\nMaintain accurate driver logs, trip reports, and inspection reports\nAssist with loading/unloading, secure loads properly, and ensure safe transport\nMaintain professional and courteous relationships with customers and vendors\nPerform routine vehicle cleaning and basic upkeep\nWhat the Role Involves\nConsistent focus and attention to detail while driving and handling loads\nPhysical activity including securing loads and assisting with unloading\nWorking in a variety of weather conditions, with most time spent in a truck cab\nExposure to normal driving conditions including noise, vibration, and fumes\nSalary & Benefits:\nMedical and Prescription\nDental\nVision\n401K\nBasic Life/Accidental Life Insurance\nEmployee Assistance Program\nTuition Reimbursement Program\nIf you’re a reliable, safety-focused driver who takes pride in your work, we’d love to connect.\nGerdau believes in equal employment opportunity related to all employees and applicants for employment.
