Gesher’s workforce development, behavioral health, and inclusion programming serves all Metro Detroiters while meeting the needs of the Jewish community.\nGENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION\nPerform daily quality inspections of contracted areas inside the Detroit Arsenal as well as identify potential and actual problem areas in the provided contracted services. Measures and updates quality standards as needed to ensure compliance with current contract.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nOther:\nThree to four years of janitorial experience with a documented work history performing custodial services preferred.\nDemonstrated experience in the performance of quality control\nAbility to work with individuals with disabilities\nInterpersonal skills sufficient to establish and maintain productive relationships that emphasize a customer focus as well as communicate effectively with participants, staff, government officials and public.\nComposition skills sufficient to prepare required reports\nBasic proficiency in Microsoft Word.\nMust be able to obit Department of Defense Security Clearance.\nMust be able to provide immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella (MMR vaccine); Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio (Tdap Vaccine) Hepatitis B; Varicella (Chicken Pox); and TB Skin test.\nValid Michigan Drive License and a driving record must meet safe standards as established by Agency insurance carrier.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop, implement and maintain complete quality control program (QCP) to assure the requirements of the contract as specified, including a documentation system of the inspections, results and actions.\nIdentifies potential and actual problem areas in providing and contracted services.\nPerform daily quality inspections of contracted areas.\nMeasures and updates quality standards as needed to ensure compliance with contracts\nMeets with government officials as deemed appropriate by the officials to discuss quality inspections and discrepancies.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nAbility to work flexible hours, including early morning shift (5:30am-9:30am) \nWork involves the ability to obtain clearance to work on work on federal government contracts\nAbility to push and lift equipment, office furniture, and accessories weighing up to 50 pounds\nWork involves the ability to stoop and bend for up to four hours a day.\nNON-EXEMPT\nThis position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay in accordance with the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act.\nThe above job description is for general informational purposes only and is not intended to be all inclusive or limiting as to specific duties.
