If you want to change how an entire profession works, you’ll fit in here.\nThe Role\nWe're hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (E2) to work directly with customers while building technical solutions that help them successfully deploy and use Clark.\nForward Deployed Engineers sit between engineering and customers. You'll spend time understanding customer workflows, configuring solutions, building lightweight integrations, troubleshooting issues, and partnering with the engineering team to improve the product.\nThis role is ideal for early-career engineers who enjoy both technical problem solving and working directly with people.\nYou'll have significant exposure to customers, product decisions, and real-world AI deployments while developing strong software engineering and systems-thinking skills.\nWhat You'll Do\nWork directly with customers during onboarding and implementation\n\nLearn customer workflows and help translate requirements into technical solutions\n\nConfigure and deploy Clark solutions in customer environments\n\nBuild lightweight integrations and internal tooling\n\nInvestigate customer issues and partner with engineering to resolve them\n\nTest product features and provide implementation feedback\n\nDocument implementation processes and best practices\n\nSupport customer launches and deployments\n\nCollaborate with engineers, product, and founders on customer needs\n\nGrow into owning larger implementation projects over time\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n0-3 years of software engineering, implementation, solutions engineering, or technical experience\n\nComfortable writing code in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages\n\nStrong curiosity and willingness to learn quickly\n\nClear communicator who enjoys working directly with customers\n\nAble to break down technical concepts into simple explanations\n\nHighly organized and detail-oriented\n\nComfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment\n\nStrong ownership mindset and bias toward action\n\nNice to Have\nInternship or professional experience building software products\n\nExperience working with APIs\n\nExperience with AI tools, LLMs, or workflow automation\n\nExperience with SQL, data analysis, or business
